When we got engaged, we wanted to know what actually goes into making a ring worth wearing for a lifetime. The more we dug, the less we liked what we found. Most jewellery today is mass-produced, and little of it honours the craft and care that went into pieces for thousands of years before.

There's a lot of smoke and mirrors in this industry. Most people have no idea why a piece costs what it does. We wanted to change that.

That's how Charlotte D'Arcy began. For the past three years we've been designing and making jewellery from our own workshop in the Cotswolds, working alongside English suppliers and expert craftspeople to bring every commission to life.

We'll always be straight with you about where your money goes. Metal, stones, design and making methods all affect the price, and there's almost always a way to tweak a design so it fits your budget without losing what makes it yours. We love working with natural and lab-grown gemstones, along with some lesser-known stones, to create something that makes a statement and suits the way you actually live, without paying for a name on a box.
